Courses and Retirement Section handles all issues pertaining to DGR-sponsored, as well as Self-Financed Resettlement Courses for retiring officers and sailors. It closely interacts with DGR, DOP, and CABS for these Courses. The section also conducts Pre-Retirement Capsule for retiring officers, every quarter, over Video Conferencing.
The Retirement Section coordinates preparation and presentation of the Retirement Kit to all superannuating & retiring Flag Officers and Commodores by the Chief of the Naval Staff, and all Captains and below of Delhi and nearby areas by the Chief of Personnel at a formal function, named as ‘Saabhar’ held every month.
