Indian Naval Placement Agency (INPA). INPA was established on 28 Feb 06 to assist naval veterans and their dependents in the resettlement process and provide job placement opportunities by interacting with corporate bodies and organisations. INPA also steers all activities pertaining to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund on behalf of the Indian Navy and coordinates DGR-sponsored Job Fairs conducted around the year by the three Services at different locations.
Role and Responsibilities.
Register applicants - officers/ sailors/ widows on inpa[at]navy[dot]gov[dot]in.
Manage database of registered applicants - officers/ sailors/ widows.
Interact with external agencies (PSUs/ Private Sector) for job opportunities.
Publicise job opportunities of Public and Private Sector amongst the retired naval personnel.
Coordinate placement of naval veterans and widows.
Coordinate Job Fairs and seminars with prospective employers.
Coordinate activities related to National Code of Occupation (NCO), pertaining to Equability of Service and Civil trades.
The section maintains a website on Internet and Social Media Groups for officers and sailors.
